Chief Executive Officer
Bob relocated from the DC area, where he was the Vice President of Customer Care for MRIS, to become the CEO of ARMLS® in October, 2007. Prior to MRIS he served as Director of Marketing and Product Management for Interealty, a leading provider of MLS systems. Past career positions include Director of Information Services for the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service, and two years as a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker in Glenview, Illinois. Before real estate, Bemis was a television production executive earning a regional Emmy® award for excellence in television directing. Bob holds a B.A in Speech and Communications from The Ohio State University. |  | | Matt Consalvo Chief Operating Officer Matthew moved to the Valley in 1974. A second generation Supra employee, he interned for Supra keybox systems in the 1980’s. Later he sharpened his customer service skills in variety of opportunities, including owning his own retail business. In 2003 he returned to GE Security/Supra to administer the Supra Field Offices, joining ARMLS in 2009 when ARMLS took over keybox administration. His passion for quality service has focused the support team on ‘best in class’ service delivery. Matthew holds a B.A. in Business Administration and is currently working towards his MBA. His wife and three sons enjoy traveling, family movie night, and football almost every weekend in the fall. | | | Chris Heagerty
Director - Communication, Professional & Business Development Chris was recruited to the Valley from Austin, TX to be the General Manager for the large Prudential affiliate while consulting for PRESCO, Prudential’s technology services company. She served as General Manager for eRealty, Inc. one of the earliest VOW brokerages managing their Austin, Connecticut, Atlanta and Dallas markets. Chris founded and served as President of Heagerty Company, REALTORS® in Austin. She authored the Local Board Leadership Program for the Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR) and rewrote the GRI courses for TAR in 2004. She holds a B.A. in biology, an M.A. in microbiology, the GRI, CRB CRP and ABRM designations and has been a REALTOR® for over 30 years. | | | Jo Abrams
Director - Finance and Administration
Jo directs all ARMLS financial processes. She joined ARMLS in 2008 from a distinguished thirty year career in accounting management with experience in mergers and acquisitions, audits, GAAP, internal controls, and foreign currency conversions. In her last four positions dating back to 1995, she served as Controller. At ARMLS, Jo is responsible for the compilation of financial statements and analysis for use by in-house management, the Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors. She also compiles the budget and is charged with treasury management and the coordination of the internal controls audit, the financial audit, and tax preparation. Jo earned her B.S in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. | | | Barbara Hoffman
Manager - Education and Staff Development
Barb oversees the ARMLS Trainers and volunteer Title Trainers. She works closely with department heads to ensure that interaction internally and externally with ARMLS is a positive experience. Since joining ARMLS in 2008 she orchestrated training and support during the flexmls conversion. Barb worked for Long Realty Company in Tucson for thirty-five years where she moved through the company ranks to serve as the Operations and Human Resources Director for eleven years. She is a former REALTOR® and has been a trainer and board member of the Sahuaro Girl Scout Council for many years. Barb professes a passion for helping REALTORS® achieve their goals. | | | Paul Kriewall
Project and Contract Manager Paul became a part of the ARMLS staff in 2006 and was our Compliance Officer until February 2011. He has been fundamentally involved in all facets of policy and rule creation/enforcement for the company. Paul’s current duties include managing the delivery process and ongoing obligations for products and services for which ARMLS contracts, contract formulation, risk management and project management across the whole of the company. Paul brings to ARMLS a wide array of experience from his varied professional career prior to his time at ARMLS. Some of his previous titles include: Divisional Director of Operations, Compliance Auditor, Process Improvement Analyst, Contract Administrator, Paralegal, and Physical Education teacher/Athletic Director. Paul is an MBA, holds a B.S., and is a Certified Paralegal. | | | Austin Drew
MLS Operations Manager
Austin’s grasp of real estate and the evolution of multiple listing came from first hand observation of his mother, a Valley Realtor since the 70’s. His institutional knowledge of ARMLS dates back to 2003 when he handled the Helpdesk. In 2004, Austin added training and curriculum development and continued in that dual capacity until 2008, when he became the MLS Analyst responsible for the conversion from TEMPO to flexmls. In 2009, Austin was promoted to MLS Manager, serving as liaison between ARMLS and FBS (MLS vendor) regarding system changes, enhancements and problems in the flexmls system. He also serves as the Helpdesk Manager. | | | Brian Wharton
Business Development Manager
Brian's real estate depth comes from over thirty-three years industry experience. Joining ARMLS in 2006, he is responsible for oversight of Broker and vendor data licensing, fielding data policy questions, assisting in the integration of products into the MLS application, and serving as staff liaison to data or product related ARMLS committees and task forces. Prior to ARMLS, Brian served as Real Estate and Rentals Product Manager for azcentral.com, Manager for Transamerica Intellitech for Arizona, President of Pathways Commercial Data Services and an Escrow Officer and title company Branch Manager. Brian was also a full time REALTOR® for over eleven years. | | | Lynn Boyd
Production Design Manager
Lynn joined ARMLS in 2008 from DC based Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc. (MRIS). She learned about MLS from the ground up, first as a Helpdesk technician and later as a Marketing Specialist. Lynn honed her skills supporting all MLS departments: building compelling original graphics, marketing products, creating promotional emails and PowerPoints and designing Website graphics. At ARMLS Lynn maintains branding standards and supports the graphic needs of all departments. She fulfills a wide array of graphic and design needs from full scale creations such as TECHNOPALOOZA to her publisher and design duties for the online magazine, WAVE, to content management of armls.com. | | | Chris DeWald
Industry Relations Liaison
Chris spearheads ARMLS’s ongoing outreach to Participants and Subscribers. She carries the ARMLS message and information about products and services directly into the field. Before joining ARMLS Chris served for fifteen years as an Account Executive doing similar outreach for MRIS, the largest MLS in the country, serving the Washington, Baltimore and Northern Virginia REALTOR® population. Prior to that Chris served as the Director of Recreational Tennis for the US Tennis Association, directing adult and junior league tennis activities, tournaments and championships. She is an avid tennis player herself. Chris holds a degree in business and accounting from George Mason University in Virginia. | | | Kari Kuyper
Human Resources and Facilities Manager
Kari joined ARMLS in 2005 bringing with her over ten years experience in Human Resources. At ARMLS she is responsible for facility management and Human Resources, including benefits, recruiting, staffing and hiring, employee relations and policies. Kari earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Minnesota State University and holds a Licensed Practical Nurse diploma. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources. Kari is currently a candidate for the professional designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). | | | April Parsons
IT Manager
April joined ARMLS in July, 2004 after serving two years in telecommunications and five years with Moore Data, ARMLS’s first MLS vendor. At Moore Data she started on the Helpdesk and was quickly promoted to Network Administrator. Within ARMLS April is noted for twin strengths: her ability to meet technology challenges head on and her calm demeanor when sorting through technical issues. Both foster in others confidence in her abilities. April loves anything IT related because its problems bring new challenges in a rapidly changing technical environment. Away from ARMLS, April and her husband are consummate theater goers and amateur film critics. | | | Hank Grabowski
Customer Support Manager – Support Centers
Hank joined ARMLS in May, 2010 after a distinguished career in retail sales management at the retail outlet and area levels in Tucson and Phoenix. He studied business and accounting but his specialty is customer service. Customers find him easy to talk to, and his strong listening skills and diligent follow through create satisfied customers over and over again. His management style is very hands-on and Hank is a firm believer that you can’t manage what you don’t know yourself inside and out. Away from ARMLS, Hank enjoys the out of doors and can be spotted hiking Camelback Mountain, the Superstitions or other urban trails in the metro area. | | | Anaberta Billar Data Integrity Manager Ana moved to the Valley from California, lured by lifestyle and nursing studies. After various customer service positions, she was sidetracked by taking real estate courses. She joined ARMLS in 2005, juggling both Helpdesk and Compliance duties. As ARMLS’s first Compliance Analyst, Ana helped create department procedures. She was promoted to Data Integrity Supervisor in 2009 and then Manager in 2011. Ana also trains new analysts and addresses complex issues as they arise. She finds her new role both challenging and satisfying. Ana’s strengths are organization and the empathy she feels for Subscribers. Her focus is educating Subscribers to understand how to comply and avoid penalties in the future. Her passion is her husband, their two Pugs and cooking for family gatherings. |
